Nora Aunor wins Best Actress award, Director's Showcase in Cinemalaya Film Fest

Bicolana actress Nora Aunor won the Best Actress Award, Director's Showcase in the Cinemalaya Film Festival tonight.

Aunor's movie, Hustisya, also won the Audience Choice Award, Director's Showcase.

Hustisya, in which Aunor plays the lead role, tells the story of a foul-mouthed woman working for a human trafficking agency controlled by a powerful syndicate.

Hustisya is directed by Joel Lamangan. It also stars Rocco Nacino, Rosanna Roces, Sunshine Dizon, Gardo Versoza, Chynna Ortaleza, Jeric Gonzales, Romnick Sarmenta, Jaime Pebanco, Tony Mabesa, Miles Kanapi, Sue Prado, John Rendez, Chanel Latorre, Angela Ruiz, and Menggie Cobarrubias.
