Tiwi-Sagnay Road closed due to rockslides

SAGNAY, Camarines Sur 12/21/17 (Bicol Standard) -- The incessant downpour has triggered at least two rockslides along the Tiwi-Sagnay Road, leading to the closure of a section of the road since early this morning.

Motorists are advised to avoid the road as it poses danger.

Bicol Standard's source said this is a perennial problem during the rainy season.

More erosions are expected in the area as the ground is already saturated.

Rain has been falling in the area since the onslaught of Typhoon Urduja.

The MDRRMO is providing assistance in the area as of this writing.
