Indian moneylender robbed of cash, jewelry on Christmas Day


VIRAC, Catanduanes 12/25/17 (Bicol Standard) -- An moneylender was robbed of cash and jewelry at Brgy. San Isidro, Viga, Catanduanes at around 3:40 p.m. earlier today.

The victim was identified as Tejinder Singh Toor, 29 years old, and an Indian national.

The police said an unidentified suspect forcibly broke the kitchen door of the victim's house and carted away jewelry amounting to around P40,000.00 and more or less P10,000.00 in cash.

Follow-up investigation is still being conducted by the Viga Municipal Police Station as of this writing.
