Barangay tanod shot dead in Sorsogon

GUBAT, Sorsogon 10/18/17 (Bicol Standard) -- A tanod of barangay Bonifacio, this town was shot to death by two unidentified armed men at Barangay Cogon, this town late yesterday afternoon.

The victim was identified as Allan Jolasco y Encinas, 45 years old, married, and a resident of Barangay Bonifacio, this town.

The police said the suspects were wearing a face mask and shot the victim at close range.

Said suspects fled on board a motorcycle heading towards the direction of Bacon District, Sorsogon City.

Investigators are still trying to determine the identity and motive of the culprits as of this writing.
