5th death attributed to Concepcion Gang

LEGAZPI CITY 12/1/16 — The Concepcion Gang has allegedly claimed the life of its fifth victim in what is perceived to be a killing spree in the town of Libon, Albay.

At about 7:30 p.m. last night, Lorivie Maraño y Sigalat, 25 years old, was shot to death inside her residence allegedly by the members of Concepcion Gang.

The group was led by one Emmanuel “Manny” Concepcion, the police said.

The victim is the fifth casualty in the series of killings allegedly perpetrated by the Concepcion Gang since early November.

Reports say that the group is retaliating after the police tried to serve a warrant of arrest for Gilbert Concepcion, who was spotted in a gathering in Libon, Albay.

Concepcion has been tagged as the number 1 most wanted person in Bicol.

As of this writing, the police are still conducting a follow-up investigation on the incident.
