DOJ issues lookout bulletin vs Sen De Lima, 5 more

MANILA October 10, 2016 (Bicol Standard) -- The Department of Justice has issued an immigration lookout bulletin order for Senator Leila de Lima and five other individuals who are allegedly involved in the illegal drug operations at the New Bilibid Prison.


The order reads: "Based on the request of the NBI, the individuals subject of this ILBO are allegedly involved in the proliferation and trade of illegal drugs inside the National Bilibid Prison and other areas."

Mentioned in the lookout bulletin order apart from De Lima are former Justice

Secretary Francisco Baraan, former Bureau of Correction (BuCor) chief Franklin Jesus Bucayu, former driver or De Lima, Ronnie Dayan, former Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission head Reginald Villasanta and former De Lima’s aide Joenel Sanchez.

Said individuals cannot leave the country without having been granted permission by the DOJ.

The lookout order is signed by DOJ Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre, and is addressed to Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente.
