Bicol Business Month 2016 to propel onward ‘powerhouse Bicolandia’

NAGA CITY, October 22, 2016 (Bicol Standard)—It’s all systems go for Bicol Business Month, the annual event that puts the spotlight on the leading and emerging players in trade and industry in the Bicol region.

Scheduled on November 7 to 30, 2016, Bicol Business Month aims to raise the Bicol region’s level of economic dynamism.

Specifically, the event seeks to showcase and promote the best of Bicol trade and commerce, pave the way for new opportunities through business matching with exhibitors from within and outside Bicol, provide updates on new investment areas, technologies and product trends, enlighten firms on environmental protection programs and prospects in green investments, and offer insights on prominent Bicolano entrepreneurs’ success stories.

This year’s Bicol Business Month will feature the Dine Naga Camarines Sur Food Caravan, Agri-Aqua Trade Fair, Farmer’s Forum, ICT-BPM Forum/Tech Summit, Livelihood/Entrepreneurship Congress, Real Estate/Construction Expo, Renewable Energy Forum, Travel and Tourism Summit, Women’s Congress, Tiangge and Banchetto, Car Show, Food, Health and Wellness Showcase, and Bicol Society Ball and charitable events.

Also slated during the month-long gathering is the annual Halyao Awards, which is the sole regional business recognition event that honors Bicolano entrepreneurs for their faith in the Bicol economy.

Hosting the event this year is Naga City, which has consistently been hailed as one of the most business-friendly cities in the country
