In response, the law enforcers immediately sent a bomb-sniffing canine to check if the bag contains an explosive device.

The canine, it was reported, sat down on the attache case, causing bystanders to panic.

As a result,Naga City OIC City Director PSSupt. Julius Muñez himself immediately proceeded to the area to personally clarify the reported incident.

It turned out, however, that the attaché case, when opened, contained wires, a microphone, and other materials used by technicians.

Further, it was revealed that a certain Benjamin Callo, an employee of the Naga City government, was the one who left the attache case.

Callo said he was tired and thus had forgotten his bag at said location.

City Councilor Jose Sonny Ranola, who is the head of the NICC, told the media that he already reprimanded Callo for causing alarm.
