Poll duties no longer compulsory for public school teachers – Chairman Bautista

MANILA September 16, 2016 (Bicol Standard) -- The Commission on Elections has announced today that poll duties for public school teachers will no longer be compulsory in the succeeding electoral exercises.



Comelec Chairman Andres Bautista said that the commission will start implementing Republic Act 10756 or the Election Service Reform Act during the next polls.

The poll body is now ready to enforce the implementing rules and regulations of the said reform law, Bautista added.
