PNP sets up checkpoints in Daet, CNorte

DAET, Camarines Norte September 5, 2016 (Bicol Standard) -- Camarines Norte police have started setting up additional checkpoints to tighten further their security plan for the residents here.

President Rodrigo R. Duterte, in his directive to all law enforcement agencies, ordered the police and the military to establish a well-coordinated intelligence gathering effort for an early detection of any form of lawless violence, like what happened in Davao City last Friday.

Yesterday, a team of police officers led by PSI Leny T. Encinas, commander of PCP 3, had established a checkpoint along the Diversion road, in front of Pentagon Terminal, at Brgy. Camambugan, here to provide police visibility in the area.

Meanwhile, Oplan Sita will still be intensified not only as a support for the Anti-Illegal drug campaign, but also to curb other forms of lawless violence, they said.
