Many will be waving white handkerchiefs, praying the rosary, and holding candles amid shouts of "Viva la Virgen!" and "Viva El Divino Rostro" in this moving display of Marian faith.
Among the activities lined up in connection with the event are a pontifical mass at the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral at 10 a.m., a community mass at the Quadricentennial Arch at 2 p.m., and a Pontifical Mass to be led by Archbishop Socrates Villegas at the Basilica Minore Grounds at 6:30 p.m.
The fluvial procession, which is held a day before the Solemnity of Our Lady of Penafrancia, will begin at 4 p.m. (BICOLSTANDARD.COM)
