MNWD Pumping Stations Up and Running

In its continuous commitment to provide adequate and clean water supply to the public, the Metropolitan Naga Water District (MNWD) has integrated in its system the reactivated pumping station located in Monte Cielo, Barangay Del Rosario, Naga City last Wednesday, August 31, 2016 and the newly constructed pumping station in Jardin Real, Barangay Del Rosario, Naga City last Saturday, September 3, 2016.

The Monte Cielo and Jardin Real pumping stations can both produce water at 10 liters per second (LPS). The assimilation of these new water sources will greatly help in the needs of the households in the Del Rosario and Concepcion areas where big subdivisions are located.

These two activated water sources could supply more or less 2,000 households in barangays Concepcion Grande and Del Rosario, Naga City.

Up and running. Monte Cielo Pumping Station. Activities conducted during its reactivation: Generator Set-up, Electrical Wiring Installation, Site Clearing, and Flushing.

To ensure water safety. Disinfection and flushing was done in the newly constructed Jardin Real Pumping Station in Barangay Del Rosario before it was injected into the MNWD water system.
