The police report said that PO3 Dennis A. Altez, who acted as the poseur buyer and the suspect met at the Bicol Central Station, where the illegal commodity was handed to him.
The incident was consummated at around 2:30 a.m., right after the alleged dried marijuana leaves were handed do the poseur buyer.
The ten (10) dried marijuana bricks were placed inside a 24 x 10 x 25g carton box of coffee. Their estimated value is around P60,000.
Meanwhile, the buy-bust money, which was paid to the suspect consists of two pieces of P500 which were placed on top of the cut newspaper.
Present during the buy bust operation were representatives from the media, Department of Justice and a barangay official, who served as witness to the drug buy bust.
The suspect is now detained at the Naga City Police Office for further interrogation and filing of the case with the City Prosecution Office.
The police operatives said during the interview that the latest successful drug buy bust operation is a product of a well-coordinated effort of from the intelligence community and with the help of some civilians.
