Bicolana Janelle Mae Frayna is PH's first Woman Chess Grandmaster
LEGAZPI CITY--Janelle Mae Frayna is the nation's first woman chess grandmaster after winning in the 42nd World Chess Olympiad in Baku, Azerbaijan last night.

Twenty-year-old Frayna is a native of Legazpi City, Albay.

Her opponents in the competition were 3 men's grandmasters and two women international masters.
