INSPIRING | Curriculum implementation chief reads stories to Grade 1 kids in Naga City

ONCE A TEACHER, ALWAYS A TEACHER. Lynn Zuniga Padillo reads a story to Grade 1 pupils in Naga City.
Although Lynn Zuniga Padillo is now chief of the curriculum implementation at DepEd Naga, she still enjoys reading stories to Grade 1 pupils of Triangulo Elementary School.

"This will be part of my daily routine," Padillo said, who read the story after the pupils' flag ceremony.

Padillo is currently in charge of Science and Private Schools, Elementary Education Division, DEPED RO V. She previously served as Principal I of Grandview Elementary School, DepEd Naga City. She is also a member of the Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators of the Philippines being one of the 2008 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Teachers of the Philippines, according to the website of the University of Nueva Caceres.

The book she is reading to the students in the photo is "An Madunong na si Wako" written by Bicolana teacher Meriam Tandog.
