Probe on extra-judicial killing in Sorsogon ongoing

PILAR, Sorsogon August 24, 2016 (Bicol Standard) – Police investigators here have not yet concluded their probe on the lifeless body of Alvin Oraye y Padilla, 35, who was found dumped at the Putia Public Cemetery, at Brgy Putia, last week.


He is a resident of Brgy. San Rafael, Guinobatan, Albay.

According to the report, Oraye was last seen alive August 11, at Brgy San Francisco Guinobatan, Albay.

When his cadaver was discovered last August 12, his hands were tied with duct tape and with multiple gun-shot wounds in the different parts of his body.

He was wearing gray six-pocket pants and a printed t-shirt.

The following items were also recovered at the scene of the crime: eight (8) pieces of empty shell fired from a caliber 45 pistol and one (1) fired bullet from the same caliber.

His body was brought to Leosala Funeral Homes for autopsy.

The additional investigation report says that victim’s body was positively identified by Charie Condes y Ramos, his live-in partner.

As of this writing, nobody has claimed responsibility over the said extra-judicial killing.

It is not yet known whether the victim is among those included in the illegal drug personalities actively operating here.
