Alleged drug pusher killed in Daet

DAET, Camarines Norte August 8, 2016 (Bicol Standard) -- A well-known drug pusher here listed in the municipal drug watch was shot to death by three (3) unidentified men on August 6 in his residence.

The victim was identified as Felix Jardinero y Ybarola, 40, single and a resident of Purok 1, Brgy. IV, here.

A witness to the incident told the investigators that the assailants were riding a Suzuki Raider motorcycle when they arrived at the house of the victim.

He stated further that the three suspects were wearing masks, jackets and long pants.

Meanwhile, the victim’s body was found lying inside his residence adjacent to the main door of the house with multiple gunshot wounds.

The investigators said that their informant confided to them that the assailants proceeded directly to where the victim was, and immediately fired upon him.

Then, they fled immediately towards an unknown direction.

Similar to the incidents before, the suspects left a piece of cardboard, bearing the written words "PUSHER/HOLDAPER AKO WAG TULARAN" which was placed near the left portion of the victim’s head.

The cadaver of Jardinero was brought to a local funeral parlor at Vinzons Avenue, Barangay V here.

The follow-up unit of the Philippine National Police (PNP) is still conducting their own investigation.
