Said piece, which featured various anatomical parts with vibrant splashes of color, was displayed alongside the creations of the pupils from various public schools across Naga City.
In an interview with Bicol Standard, fourteen-year-old Flores said had stopped schooling at grade four. However, he had been participating in art workshops around the city, such as those conducted by veteran artist Bobi Rayala. Flores said he comes to Naga City all the way from Camaligan, Camarines Sur to participate in said activities.
Flores said he was shy to join the free art workshop offered by Salingoy Art Group in cooperation with the Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office (ACTO) of the City Government of Naga, but agreed to continue honing his craft.
The budding artist was provided free art materials and was offered to pursue a diploma through the Alternative Learning System (ALS).
