Bicol PNP chief lauds Duterte’s SONA message

Bicol PNP Regional Director Chief Supt. Melvin Buenafe
These were the immediate reactions aired by the PNP Regional Director, Chief Supt. Melvin Buenafe, in a text message sent to radio station DWNX.

May ilan nang mga under investigation sa Naga City PNP,” the Regional Police Director reiterated to his subordinates over the weekend.

It will be recalled that Buenafe has been busy making unscheduled visits to the different police stations in Camarines Sur since he assumed office as Bicol PNP Regional Director.

The latest police stations that he inspected were in the towns of Del Gallego and Sipocot.

Meanwhile, he also issued a stern warning against police officials who will be proven to be drug users that they will be dealt with and punished accordingly.

Chief Supt. Buenafe said that his marching order to the police is to conduct a relentless campaign against illegal drugs and even intensify their operation.

This is on top of their major task of maintaining peace and order in every community, he added. (BICOLSTANDARD.COM)
