Sorsogon police sounds alarm over missing person

SORSOGON CITY--The Sorsogon Provincial Police Office has initiated a province-wide flash alarm over the disappearance of the grandson of one Mrs. Rosie B. Derla.

The grandson, who was identified as Kenneth Malazarte, has been missing since he left his house at around 1:30 p.m. on June 8, Mrs. Derla told the police at around 5 p.m. today.

Malazarte was reportedly accompanied by his friends Francisco Huenda and Jomar Malazarte to sell pili products at Matnog, Sorsogon.

He failed to come home, however, after a certain Ruspher Perez invited him to go to Catarman aboard a Montenegro Ferry boat.

In a report to BICOL STANDARD, PSupt. Nonito Furio Marquez of the Sorsogon Police Community Relation-Public Information Office sought the assistance of the public to let them know of any information regarding Malazarte's whereabouts.
