Penafrancia Fiesta 2016 schedule released

NAGA CITY—The Peñafrancia Basilica has released the schedule of the the 134th Divino Rostro and the 306th Peñafrancia Annual Festivities.

The Feast of the Divino Rostro falls on the second Friday of September, or September 9. The Traslacion is on September 9, while the Fluvial Procession is on September 17. The feast day of Our Lady of Peñafrancia is on September 18, the third Sunday of September.

The general theme for the fiesta is "Christ, the face of God’s mercy, nourishes the family in the Eucharist (Si Cristo, an lawog kan pagkaherak kan Dios, nagpapakakan kan familia sa Eucaristia), according to the Basilica.

Below is the detailed schedule of religious events for the Penafrancia Fiesta 2016:

August 30 (Tuesday) 5:00 pm: Mass & Procession of the Divino Rostro from Basilica to Penafrancia Parish Church with Caceres Clergy

(All Divino Rostro Novena Masses will be held at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish Church)
