Australian national found dead in Irosin after drinking beer, red wine

IROSIN, Sorsogon –An Australian national identified as Keith Jones, 59 years old, temporarily residing at Brgy San Agustin, here was declared dead on arrival when his body was brought to the Irosin District Hospital, according to a report gathered from the police station here.

His live-in partner, Charie Bayoca y Gabion, 33 years old, 8 months pregnant, and a resident of the same locality had the incident recorded at around 7:30 p.m..

Bayoca reported to the police that she noticed that the victim had difficulty in breathing coupled with severe vomiting so she rushed him to the nearest hospital.

She added that the victim took daily maintenance medication due to his poor health.

Despite this, she said he had developed a daily habit of drinking beer from 5 to 7 p.m. before eating dinner.

On the day that he died, Charie Bayoca and Keith Jones ate their dinner together.

Meanwhile, eating, Bayoca noticed that Jones choked and vomited. The police probers were, however, told that before they took their dinner together, the victim again drank his favorite beer.

As this developed, the elements of Irosin MPS took photographs of the place where he was said to have drunk beer; collected the bottles of 1000 mL Red Horse, and an empty bottle of Carlo Rossi red wine allegedly consumed by the victim prior to his death for laboratory examinations.

The live-in partner requested the investigators to conduct an outopsy of the dead body the Australian.

At presstime, Bayoca had already contacted the Australian Embassy to inform them of the death of Jones. (BICOLSTANDARD.COM)
