Nora Aunor to receive Gusi Peace Prize

Bicolana actress Nora Aunor will be honored with a Gusi Peace Prize for Poverty Alleviation thru Livelihood Projects & Women International excellence in performing arts & cinema.

Aunor, who has roots in Iriga City, Camarines Sur, will receive the prize at the Philippine International Convention Center on Wednesday, November 25.

The Gusi Peace Prize foundation is a charitable institution registered in Manila, Philippines whose main objective is to confer awards of recognition to individuals or groups who have contributed to peace and respect for human life and dignity. The foundation recognizes achievements in a wide range of fields.
