BMC seeks applicants for residency training

NAGA CITY—The Bicol Medical Center (BMC) is now accepting applicants for residency training in pediatrics, anesthesia, radiology, internal medicine, surgery, and OB-Gyn. This was announced earlier this week by Dr. Marla Litam, the hospital's newly-installed medical chief.

Litam said the hospital is the place to be in Bicolandia for teaching and training.

The biggest hospital in Bicol, BMC is a 500-bed public facility under the direct supervision of Department of Health, Center for Health Development- Bicol in Legazpi City. It is a non-profit institution and one of the 13 medical centers under the National Government.

BMC, which is committed to providing high-quality tertiary health care services, professes compassionate and excellent service with integrity. It also aims to be the premier medical center in the entire Bicol region.

Last year, it received the prestigious 9001:2008 certification from the International Standardization Organization (ISO).
