PDEA is hiring new agents

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency is hiring brilliant and highly qualified professionals who have a deep desire to fight the war against illicit drugs in the country.

Be a Drug Enforcement Officer (DEO) as the PDEA Academy gears up anew for the recruitment and selection of more or less 500 qualified applicants for the Drug Enforcement Officer Basic Course (DEOBC) Class 15-08.

PDEA Undersecretary Director General Arturo G. Cacdac Jr. said that DEOs have an entry level position of Intelligence Officer 1 (IO1), a permanent item with Salary Grade 11 and an unparalleled budding career accorded to a chosen few in becoming part of an elite drug law enforcement group in the country.

PDEA is looking for 21-35 years old, men and women, holder of a Baccalaureate Degree, Career Service Eligible, Board Passer or qualified by Civil Service Commission under Special Laws.

Interested applicants may send their letter of intent addressed to Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac Jr, CESE, Director General, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, NIA Northside Road, National Government Center, Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City. Attached the photo copy of Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority; if under height secure a certificate issued by the National Commission on Indigenous People (NCIP). Also ensure that the contact number and email address are duly indicated in his/her Personal Data Sheet (PDS Civil Form 212, 2005 Revised) or you can download the form at www.csc.gov.ph; or applications may be forwarded or submitted through personal delivery at: PDEA Academy Liaison Office/Clinic, PDEA National Headquarters, NIA Northside Road, National Govenrment Center, Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City; Courier Service at PDEA Academy, Camp General Mariano N. At present, the PDEA Academy is now on its 4th month of DEOBC training and members of the class will be graduating on the last week of September 2015.
