Palabok downs 26 in Ligao City

LIGAO CITY—At least 26 individuals were rushed to Josefina Belmonte Duran Memorial Hospital and Garcia Hospital after eating palabok at AC Pancit Malabon, McKinley St., this city, between 3 to 4 p.m. August 3.



According to the attending physician, the victims suffered from acute gastroenteritis. Among the symptoms reported were vomiting and loose bowel movement.

Investigators wanted to take a sample of said palabok for further examination. However, it was discovered that the noodle dish in question had all been consumed by the victims.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
