CamNorte police bust Php1.2M worth of shabu
Misig, a resident of Barangay Baclaran, Calauag, Quezon Province, was finally collared at 6:51 p.m. on August 25 at Sitio Pookan, Barangay Tabugon.
Camarines Norte Police Provincial Director Senior Supt. Harris Fama told BICOL STANDARD that the successful police operation was hatched by joint elements of the Philippine Drug enforcement Agency (PDEA) of Camarines Norte, Sta. Elena Police Station, and Camarines Norte Provincial Intelligence Branch.

Provincial Director Fama said the buy bust operation against Misug was under the supervision of Director III Bryan B. Babang, Regional Director of PDEA Bicol Regional Office.
The following items were confiscated be the members of the raiding team: two pieces of plastic containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 250 grams with an estimated street value of Php1,250,000; a Php1,000 bill used as buy-bust money; three bundles of Php1,000 bills with pieces of newspaper inserted, used as boodle money and a plastic bag used as container of boodle money.
The suspected illegal drugs will be brought to the Camarines Norte Provincial Crime Laboratory for examination.
Meanwhile, the suspect is now under the custody of Sta. Elena Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
The appropriate criminal complaint is now being prepared by PDEA Camarines Norte and Sta. Elena Municipal Police Station for filing in court.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
