Naga City police nab 3 drug dealers

NAGA CITY—The intensified campaign against the almost unabated proliferation of illegal drugs has yielded a positive result when at least three allegedly notorious drug dealers were apprehended early this morning here.

Chief Inspector Benito Dipad, Jr., intelligence officer, led the team of police operatives who conducted the buy-bust operation at 2 a.m. at RJMC Hotel, Almeda Highway, Concepcion Grande.

Collared by the police operatives were Marlon Aloc y Glory, 28 years old, single, of Labo,
Camarines Norte; Aurelio Era y Parinas, 39 years old, married of Calauag, Quezon; and Ismael Obas y Deda, 30 years old of Calauag, Quezon.

Said suspects were apprehended while selling a medium-size heat-sealed transparent sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu to
PO3 Junel Cea, who acted as poseur buyer with the use of a P500 bill.

Meanwhile, during the body search of Marlon Aloc conducted by PO3 Cea, three medium-sized heat-sealed transparent sachets believed to be containing shabu were also found.

PO3 Cea also recovered from suspect Aurelio Era a Colt caliber .38 revolver without serial number loaded with five pieces of live ammunition.

All three suspects are now detained at the Naga City Police Office for further interrogation preparatory to the filing of cases against them. They will face the criminal charge of violating Section 5 of, Article II, of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.—Report by Oscar Esmenda, BICOLSTANDARD.COM Pirming enot.
