Affected are the Poblacion areas of Bulusan, including Madlawon, Pocdol, Sangan, Looban, Central, Dapdap, Sabang, Mabuhay, San Jose, San Rafael, San Francisco, the report indicated.

Meanwhile, Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Herminio Coloma, Jr. earlier today said in a radio interview that the government is continuing to monitor the volcanic activity.

Based on the report of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the Department of Social Welfare and Development ((DSWD) has distributed over 200 food packs to residents of Irosin and Juban, who were directly affected by the latest explosion.

Coloma noted that the government has approximately P171 million worth of food packs and funds from the DSWD field office on standby.
