Rep. Leni Robredo's office in Naga ransacked

NAGA CITY—Unidentified burglars ransacked the district office of Rep. Leni Robredo over the weekend, carting away at least three laptops and a flat screen monitor, Robredo's chief of staff Jonas Calibes Soltes said to the media this morning.

As of the time of this writing, Robredo's staff is still conducting an inventory to determine what other items were stolen by the robbers.

The district office, which is located right inside the Naga City Hall compound, was supposed to be under the watch of the Naga City Public Safety Office.

The robbers gained access to the office by destroying its rear windows.

Just last March, burglars broke into the Arts, Culture and Tourism Office (ACTO), and into Barryman's Coffee and Tea shop, both inside the City Hall compound.

The authorities have not been able to apprehend the suspects in said twin robberies.—Report by Ron-Ron Enon, BICOLSTANDARD.COM
