ANGAN KUNO? | Power restored in Rinconada

via Melvin Machado

IRIGA CITY—Power has been restored in the Rinconada area after it was cut off from the Luzon power grid on Monday (April 6).

The power supply was reconnected at around 6:30 p.m. tonight (April 8).

Unconfirmed reports say that the San Miguel Energy Corporation (SMEC) reconnected the Camarines Sur Electric Cooperative III after the beleaguered cooperative was able to borrow P15 million pesos from the Local Government Unit of Iriga City.

This was confirmed to BICOLSTANDARD.COM by Mayor Ronald Felix Alfelor who said: "Yes po. Nagpasubli an LGU Iriga ng 15M sa Cas 3 para marestore ang kuryente."

Meanwhile, lines have been long at gasoline stations in Rinconada area.

Mobile charging stations have also sprouted all over the locality as the threat of power cut continues to be imminent in this area.—With report from Maria Teresa Iraola Laniog/ BICOLSTANDARD.COM Pirming enot. Pirming bago.
