Mini-moon or micro-moon in Naga City


The smallest full moon of the year, also called the "mini-moon" or "micro-moon," is seen when the moon is at its apogee, or its distance is farthest from the Earth. Tonight, the moon is about 50,000 kilometers farther away from Earth than will the year's closest full moon.
