According to the intial investigation conducted by the police, at around 12 midnight at Kina'Mon Resto Bar,  Magsaysay Ave., Brgy. Concepcion Pequeña, a misunderstanding ensued between two groups.

This led to four suspects stabbing four other people.

The suspects, according to the police report,  were believed to be under the influence of liquor.

They were identified as Antonio Cano y Sayson, 28, and Antonio Cano y Rentoria, 23, both residents of Bagumbayan Sur, Naga City, the police said.  The identities of two other suspects remain unknown.

The suspect's group, according to the spot report, stabbed Nino Raphael Estipona y Cabase, 27; Rendel Ryan Sy III y Delfino, 26; Sylvester Gray Berina y del Castillo, 24; and Jennsen Mayuga y Tuto, 26.

After the incident, Delfino was rushed to Mother Seton Hospital, and was declared dead on arrival by Dr. Xerxes Torres.

Estipona, who was brought to Bicol Medical Center, was pronounced dead by 2:03AM by Dr. Kristine Camille P. Prieto.

The two other victims, Sylvester Gray Berina y del Castillo, 24; and Jennsen Mayuga y Tuto, 26 were also brought to the Mother Seton Hospital. As of the time of this posting, Berina and Mayuga are already under stable condition.

Meanwhile, suspects Antonio Cano y Sayson and Antonio Cano y Rentoria were apprehended by responding members of the Naga City Police, with the help of concerned citizens.

The two unidentified suspects, however, were able to escape.

A follow-up operation for the possible identification and apprehension of the two other suspects has been launched by intel operatives.

The motive, the police said, is yet to be determined.

A complaint for Homicide is also being prepared for filing against the suspects before the City Prosecutor's Office.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM Pirming enot, pirming bago
