Earthquake rocks parts of Bicol, Quezon

NAGA CITY- A magnitude 4.2 tremor jolted parts of Bicol and Quezon province at 08:09:13 Monday morning.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology located the epicenter at 13.23°N, 123.46°E - 006 km S 23° W of Polangui (Albay) and was 14 kilometers in depth.

The earthquake was tectonic in origin.

Reported intensities are as follows: Intensity III - Iriga City, Intensity II - Daet. Camarines Norte, and Intensity I - Mulanay, Quezon.
