ANOTHER CITY HALL COMPOUND ROBBERY | Burglar strikes at Barryman's Coffee and Tea

NAGA CITY-- Yet another hangout has become a crime scene here.

According to the police report, burglars broke into Barryman's Coffee and Tea between 11:15 PM of March 28 (Saturday) and 6:20 PM of March 29 (Sunday).

Said restaurant, which is owned by Atty. Norman Barrosa, is located inside the City Hall Compound in Concepcion Pequena.

Police said that an unidentified person gained entry by first dismantling the iron casing of the establishment's air conditioning unit. Subsequently, he removed the installed exhaust fan and passed through the fan window.

While inside, he forcibly opened the glass door of the office of Atty. Remelisa Alfelor-Moraleda.

The robber then carted away cash worth P10,000 and a digital camera of an unknown brand worth P10,000.

After which, the malefactors broke into the glass door of the office of Atty. Barrosa.

The perpetrator took away from said office the following: Coach wallet containing $500 cash in different denominations, Nikon D5200 DLSR camera worth P45,000, IPAD worth P30,000, and a FUJI digital camera worth P15,000.

Members of the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) have already processed the scene this morning (March 30). However, the identity of the suspect remains unknown.

Meanwhile, earlier today, City Director has ordered a meeting among security agencies to address the deteriorating peace and order situation at the city's gimmick hub.

It will be recalled that on March 22 a stabbing incident occurred outside Kin'aMon. The incident, which involved customers, claimed two lives.

On March 28, a man shot a female customer inside the Red Cactus Bar in Magsaysay Avenue.

This incident is also the second city hall compound robbery to be recorded this month alone.

On March 7, it will be remembered, the Arts, Culture and Tourism Office (ACTO) was also robbed between 9 o'clock in the morning and 12 o'clock noon.--BICOLSTANDARD.COM Pirming enot. Pirming bago.
