Suspects in Cam Norte attempted kidnapping still at large

The police are still conducting search and monitoring for the suspects in the attempted kidnapping of a 10-year-old resident of Barangay San Jose, Talisay, Camarines Norte at noon yesterday Police Senior Inspector Malu Calubaquib of the Philippine National Police Regional Office 5 said.


Calubaquib added that the police have coordinated with the school principal of M. Cacho elementary school, where the pupil is enrolled, to conduct an emergency meeting with the parents regarding the incident.

To expedite the identification and arrest of the suspects, they have further coordinated with Punong Barangay Francisco of Barangay Del Carmen, Talisay, to dispatch the Barangay Public Safety Officers for checkpoint during school hours to monitor vehicles within the area.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
