EXCLUSIVE: Master Square loses P2-M to burglars

NAGA CITY—Three burglars carted away an estimated P2 million in cash, along with grocery items from Masters Square at J. Hernandez Avenue here earlier today.

At around 1 AM, the burglars forcibly entered the establishment via an improvised wooden ladder propped up against the second floor of the building, initial reports indicated.

The second floor is still being constructed.

From the second floor, the burglars descended to the ground floor where they destroyed the lock of the vault and took at least P2 million in cash.

They also stole various grocery items of an undetermined value.

The burglars finally left at around 4 AM, the surveillance video revealed.

As of the time of this writing, the names of the burglars have not been identified. However, reports say that their faces are visible in said video.
