PHOTOS| Landslide-hit Manito, Albay

MANITO, Albay--The Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management (APSEMO) Office Chief, headed by Dr. Cedric Daep, in coordination  with concerned agencies like the Office of Civil Defense Bicol, Philippine Air Force Tactical Operations Group 5, 901st Infantry Brigade and 2nd Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army, Bureau of Fire Protection 5, Special Response Unit of the PNP-Bicol and other response units rushed to Manito, Albay to rescue and evacuate residents of two remote villages here which were hit by landslides.

Three houses along mountain slopes were reportedly buried by the landslide in Barangay Inang Maharang and Barangay Nagotgot.

Fortunately occupants were able to rush to safety. --PNA
