Manila-Bicol route blocked by landslide in Camarines Norte

STA. ELENA, Camarines Norte--The Manila -Bicol Route was declared not passable by Police here after a landslide triggered by tropical storm "Amang" blocked the road.

The landslide was reported in Sitio Lobo, Barangay Tabugon, which is near the Camarines Norte-Calauag, Quezon boundary.

Police advise travelers to take the Andaya Highway instead.

Earlier, there was also a report of a another landslide in Barangay Rizal. The road thereat was likewise declared not passable by the Camarines Norte Police.

As of 6 pm tonight (July 18), the Kabuluan Detour Bridge  was also deemed not passable. Police advised motorists to take the Andaya Highway instead. --BICOLSTANDARD.COM
