Sorsogon Gov. Lee orders pre-emptive measures, forced evacuation

SORSOGON CITY — Gov. Raul Lee has declared the implementation of pre-emptive measures and forced evacuation when deemed necessary in the whole province of Sorsogon in an executive order issued today, December 5.

Lee, who is likewise the chairman of the the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) specifically advised those in the areas that are most vulnerable to hazards due to typhoon Ruby to take extra precaution.

The executive order was sent to city and municipal mayors in this province.

Executive Order No. 13 S 2014 "shall be implemented with utmost consideration of the pertinent guidelines provided by the DILG Memorandum Circular 2012-35 and other issuances to ensure the effective and efficient conduct of evacuation procedures." —BICOLSTANDARD.COM
