Lady, 21, accuses boss of sexual harassment

NAGA CITY—A day after the launch of the 18-day campaign to end violence against women, a 21-year-old graduate of the Ateneo de Naga University summoned all her courage to vindicate the alleged acts of sexual harassment that her already-married employer committed against her.

"Tatao ka magkiss?"
The young lady caused to be recorded in the blotter of the Naga City PNP that the manager of her office, the  Philippine British Assurance company,  a certain Renato Enciso, forced himself to kiss her.

In her narration, Enciso allegedly first told the lady: “Tatao ka magkiss?”

Then, she was instructed her to prepare coffee.

However, while waiting for the water to heat, her superior faced her, held her right hand and face and insisted on kissing her.

While doing all these, he made the following remarks: “Sige na ta mayo man ibang tao.”

These sexual advances were, however, thwarted when complainant resisted and shouted.

All these took place at about 8:30 in the morning in their office located at PDPHI Building, Panganiban Exetnsion corner Penafrancia Avenue, Brgy. San Francisco, Naga City.

Engulfed by great fear, the lady reported the matter to the Women and Children Protection Desk Section of the Naga City Police Station.

The subject of the complaint Enciso is a resident of Pili, Camarines Sur.

As of press time, Enciso could not yet be reached to air his side of the story.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
