(UPDATED) Parts of Sorsogon may expect a power outage of as long as 9.5 hours hours tomorrow, December 2, the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) said.
The interruption may last from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. according to the the NGCP advisory posted on its website on Monday.
The affected distribution utilities are Sorsogon I Electric Cooperative (SORECO I).
However, Sorsogon II Electric Cooperative (SORECO II), will not be affected contrary to the earlier advisory issued by the NCP.
This was clarified by SORECO through its Facebook account.
Tuesday's power shutdown aims to facilitate the replacement of poles and other line fittings and hardware.
