549 passengers stranded in Bicol ports

NAGA CITY — Some 549 passengers are stranded in Bicol ports due to Typhoon Ruby (international name: Hagupit) as of this morning, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported.

In Sorsogon, 333 passengers, 2 vessels, and 78 rolling cargoes are stranded, and 2 trips have been cancelled.

In Catanduanes, 106 passengers, 9 vessels (taking shelter), 19 rolling cargoes, 1 motorbanca, 1 vessel (taking shelter) are stranded, and 10 trips have been cancelled.

Lastly, in Masbate, 110 passengers, 10 vessels, 20 rolling cargoes, and 1 motor banca are stranded, and 9 trips have been cancelled.

Meanwhile, across the nation, around 2,000 passengers are stranded.
