Earlier today, a group of protesters carrying streamers, and some donning red face paint smeared across their cheeks, walked from Sta. Elena to the Rizal Monument in Daet to urge the governor to step down from his post.

Calling themselves the "Tallado Resign Movement," the group enjoined others to support their cause as they marched.

"Ibangon ang dangal [ng] Camarines Norte," one of the streamers read, while another, "Magresign ka na."

Meanwhile, on social media, a call to continue the protest at 9 AM tomorrow in front of the Provincial Capitol has been posted.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
