To take center stage at the Yuletide kickoff are the Christmas trees made out of the "baluko" or pen shell.

The exquisite pieces were crafted by Milo Naval, an internationally acclaimed designer known for his mind-boggling furniture pieces and his ability to transform ubiquitous indigenous materials into works of art.

Currently, the design guru is a Consultant for Economic and Tourism Affairs of this province.

Sorosoganons are invited to join and witness the lighting of the "baluko" Christmas trees on December 1 at the Sorsogon Provincial Capitol Park.BICOLSTANDARD.COM
