Salceda mulls class suspension on Dec. 8, 9

LEGAZPI CITY—Classes in Albay may be suspended on December 8 to 9 during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Informal Senior Officials Meeting (ISOM).

Over Facebook, Gov. Joey Salceda said that he intends to declared the suspension, per a suggestion by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) and the Albay Provincial Preparatory Logistical Committee (APPLC).


Earlier this year, the provincial chief executive said that Albay would still host the APEC meeting despite Mayon's threat of eruption.—BICOLSTANDARD.COM
