MANILA—Interior and Local Government Sec. Mar Roxas declared today that his agency is now studying the accountabilities relative to the proliferation of photos of Camarines Norte Gov. Egay Tallado and his alleged mistress.

Roxas said that this is the first time that their agency encountered such kind of concern where an elected official appeared in lewd photos which went viral on social media.

It will be recalled that Roxas stepped in the controversy when Gov. Tallado and his wife, Josie, informed him of the problem.

He denied acting as family counsel when Mr. and Mrs. Tallado met at his office. However, he admitted that he assisted in arranging for the couple to meet.

Tallado and Roxas are both members of the Liberal Party.—BICOL STANDARD
