Scheduled Power Interruption in Parts of Sorsogon Province
NGCP serves notice of the scheduled shutdown of some of its transmission facilities in these areas:
Date: 09 October 2014
Time: 07:00 AM – 05:00PM
Affected Distribution Utilities:
1. Sorsogon I Electric Cooperative (SORECO I)
2. Sorsogon II Electric Cooperative (SORECO II)

Affected area/s: parts of Sorsogon Province (SORSOGON I and II franchise areas)
Reason:
1. To facilitate correction of oil leak at Daraga 50 MVA Transformer
2. To facilitate hotspot corrections
3. To facilitate replacement of line hardware along the line.

Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion. NGCP’s customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption.
Note: Specific cities and municipalities to be affected by the power interruption are determined by the abovementioned Distribution Utility (DU), unless the activity affects the entire franchise area. The DU allots the available power within its franchise area and implements the power interruption schedule among the end-users.
