Mrs. Josie Tallado, Gov. Egay reunite in Greenhills home

Mrs. Josie Tallado has returned home to their residence in Greenhills, San Juan yesterday, Atty. Adan Botor, legal counsel and spokesman of Gov. Edgardo “Egay” Tallado told BICOL STANDARD.

The couple reunited after Mrs. Tallado purportedly escaped from their house in CamarinesNorte last Friday, where, according to her, she no longer felt safe.

In an interview over national media, Mrs. Tallado revealed that she had received threats and was being blamed for spreading compromising photos of the governor and his alleged mistress.

But Atty. Botor said that Gov. and Mrs. Tallado are now back under one roof.

“The couple had a misunderstanding. Now they are trying to mend their relationship. Hopefully, things will be alright soon,” Botor said.

He added that despite the conflict, Gov. Tallado assured his constituents that it did not, in any way, affect his work as the provincial chief executive.

“He won’t let this personal matter affect his oath to the people of Camarines Norte,” Botor said, “He will continue his service with utmost dedication.”—BICOLSTANDARD
