On ABS-CBN's morning show, Mrs. Josie Tallado, accompanied by her legal counsel Atty. Lorna Kapunan and friend Francisco, clarified that she voluntarily left home because of a fight with her husband.

Atty. Kapunan explained that a compromising photo of the alleged mistress of the governor surfaced. This was what pushed Mrs. Tallado to leave home.

"Nakita ko ang kanilang sex video," Mrs. Tallado added. "Iyon ang talagang ikinagagalit ko."

Mrs. Tallado revealed that she did not feel safe in their home, and had received threats from both the governor and the alleged mistress.

"Unang beses na pinakitaan niya ako ng baril. Sa tuwing makikita ko siya, nadadagdagan ang takot ko," Mrs. Tallado stated.

"Mahirap kalaban si Gov  Tallado. Wala akong kakampi sa Camarines Norte," she said.

Atty. Kapunan explained that Gov. Tallado confiscated the cellphone and tablet of his wife.

Mrs. Tallado confirmed the statement, and added that she did not know anymore whose side her guards were on.

"Alam niya (Gov. Tallado) kung bakit ako umalis ng bahay. Alam niya kung ano ang katotohanan," Mrs. Tallado maintained.

Meanwhile, Darleen Francisco also said that she was able to read the private message between the governor and the alleged mistress. "Pinag-uusapan nila si Tita Josie," she noted.

Atty. Kapunan urged the authorities to call of the search for Mrs. Josie Tallado. "Huwag na palakihin at sabihing kinidnap siya ng political rival."

It will be recalled that the Camarines Norte Provincial Police Office formed a special task force to facilitate the search for the governor's wife and her friend.

Yesterday, PNP Bicol Regional Director Senior Supt. Victor Deona said that they have not identified suspects in the case.

Deona earlier assured the media that their team was working round the clock on the case.

Meanwhile, as of press time, Gov. Tallado could not be reached for his comments.—BICOLSTANDARD.PH
